Tobias Aldrian aus der 3a-Klasse brilliert bei der „MORE! Writing Competition“.
Mit seinem Text zum Thema „My top three places“ überzeugte Tobias die Jury der Helbing-Englischredaktion (gemeinsam mit Native-Speakern), die seit 2018 zur Teilnahme am größten österreichischen - in Englischer Sprache verfassten - Aufsatz-Wettbewerb aufruft. Seit Start des Wettbewerbs im Schuljahr 2021-22 wurden insgesamt 3.500 Beiträge aus dem gesamten Bundesgebiet über die HELBLING e-zone, einer interaktiven Plattform, eingereicht.
Pro Jahrgangsstufe wurden 3 erste und 33 zweite Plätze vergeben. Als einziger Teilnehmer unserer Schule schaffte es Tobias mit seinem Text österreichweit auf den hervorragenden 2. Rang, was nicht nur seinen Englischlehrer Emanuel Balog mit Freude und Stolz erfüllt. Wir gratulieren herzlich!

My top three places
Are you searching for some funny and diversified destinations? Maybe
my top three places could arouse your interest!
The first location I want to introduce is Hamburg. It’s a must to visit the
impressive harbor and to take a ferry to come around. The scenery is
completely amazing, especially in the evening when all the lights are on.
However, I didn’t expect the fact, that it could be so cold and windy on a
ferry, but it was indeed! If you are interested in musicals, you need to
see the most famous one, called “The Lion King”. The music and the
elaborate costumes are absolutely astonishing!
A further pleasant activity to do is to enjoy a day in the popular thermal
spa in Loipersdorf. Don’t think that these baths are boring! There are so
many fantastic slides and a big water park is located there as well. This
location is a perfect one for relaxing and having fun at the same time!
My third favorite place I want to talk about is the theme park called
“Familypark” in Burgenland. It’s a huge area with lots of funny attractions
to do, like the “Rats Mill”-rollercoaster, which is my favorite one. And
guess what! Although I am already familiar with rollercoasters, I never
can’t stop myself from screaming during the whole ride!
Hopefully one of these trips caught your attention. Anyway, I can fully
recommend all of them. For sure you are going to be very happy there.
